“A colour theory based entirely on skin. This is what Fabian Briels has been working on. His theory contains three basic colours, a specific red, green and blue, which can be used to create any skin tone. Using Canons Oce Arizona 480 GT printer and working with the people from Canon, he has experimented with his radical idea and ultimately devised a new technology to recreate skin and colour in ink. The unique thing about this process is that the printing requires no carrier. There is no paper or other type of sheet involved. The result is made entirely from ink.” - Wendy Lubberding
